Requirements

We recently completed a website design for Thomas & Carter. The company provides luxury travel experiences across the UK and was looking for a website to represent their brand online. We created a design that allowed the companies luxury hotels, cottages and inns to take centre stage. Showcasing the various experiences available to book through the website. As well as offering the user an excellent user experience throughout.

The WordPress website design includes a blog area, contact form and an Google Maps feed and social media integration to Facebook and Instagram. The user is guided through the website using relevant call to actions and a full width header menu. Images showcasing the various travel locations are a key element within the design. Alongside an intentional use of white space throughout, allowing the clients content to take centre stage.

By incorporating a full page slider on the homepage to some of the brands key properties. Linking to external booking calendars on the independent sites allowing the guest to book their stay. The interactive property map showcases the many property locations throughout Scotland and the UK. There’s also a search function within the Properties page, to allow the user to enter their travel specifications.

The website also benefits from Mailchimp integration, allowing visitors to sign up to the Thomas & Carter mailing list to be updated on news and special discounts ongoing.
