Requirements

We created this bright and interactive website for Edinburgh Boutique hotel and bar/restaurant – The Torfin. The business had gone through a major renovation and this fully responsive design, built on WordPress, was created to reflect the re-branding that had taken place. Giving the business a new lease of life we included large images and a bright, attractive colour palette to fit in with the company branding.

User experience was extremely important. With information being easily accessible and at the same time taking users on a journey around the website to take in the various services the business offers. An integrated booking system along with a contact form were also key parts of the design. We also utilised Google map functions, making the website more interactive and integrated an Instagram feed into the design to keep the content fresh.
