We’re delighted to share this WordPress driven website creation promoting Active Travel. We worked alongside our client, The Department of Transport to create this site to act as a resource for those seeking alternative transport solutions. While demonstrating the benefits of Active Travel not only mentally and physically, but also environmentally.
The goals of the project were to create a portal that would act as a sub section of the department of transport website. Sharing active travel information through case studies, policy information, research and evidence. As well as providing local authority funding information and available business funding.
Our aims of the final design were to provide information in a simple to navigate structure, allowing users to gather the information that is relevant to them without being overwhelmed by the vast number of articles and resources held within the websites pages. We used an easy to follow menu structure to deliver strategic navigation. While engaging images break up the text heavy design with engaging relatable content.
