We were approached by Farmers Eye to design and build a new website for the company. The clients requirements for the site were to provide a fresh new front-end design. That was also intuitive and user friendly in the back-end interface. Allowing their team to add new products and update areas of the site as required ongoing in the future. Alongside this they were looking to improve the overall shopping experience for their customers in the front-end. Allowing website users to complete their purchase with confidence and ease, with as few clicks as possible. The new site was to improve the companies online presence and overall brand image. While increasing sales and turnover.
WordPress was chosen for the site to be built on. This CMS is the most popular platform globally to build websites on for good reason. At Primal Space, we wouldn’t recommend looking any further for another content management system for your website. Part of the process of the build for Farmers Eye, was to migrate a large volume of content across from the previous WordPress website. By opting to build the site on a staging area, this allowed the clients existing site to remain live throughout the build.
The website features several pages including a homepage and product information pages. As well as an FAQ, blog and contact form. While the shop area of the site, which is powered by WooCommerce, has Stripe and PayPal integration. An SEO audit was performed on the existing site and a number of SEO improvements were made throughout the new website design. Which will ultimately improve the clients overall search engine rankings. Helping this client Farmers Eye to gain a positive return on investment quickly.
The final website design is much more streamlined and modern throughout. With a focus on the businesses core products and services. Helping the user find what they are looking for quicker. Ultimately funnelling the customer to contact the client to purchase their products and services. We continue to provide Farmers Eye with ongoing website hosting and support services ongoing.
