Furthermore, there will be no charges for static mobile maps or embedded maps. What does this mean? These types of maps simply serve to show a location of a business address. 3) It’s important that you register for these new changes to ensure that your Google Maps continue to load on your website and remain functional. Unregistered accounts who continue to utilise Google maps will show as blurred out content or contain error messages. These will look unsightly displayed on your web pages. If you aren’t sure whether or not your maps are chargeable, you can cap your account at a $200 monthly minimum spend to ensure you don’t go over your free API allowance each month.

4) The new Google Maps API changes, Pay as you go structure, kicks in from 16th July 2018. So, users will be able to take advantage of the new changes, once they have registered.
